Grocery Shopping in college can be intimidating. There is pressure to be healthy, save money, and still be able to enjoy what you’re eating. I by no means have it perfected, but I thought sharing my favorite ingredients for quick and easy meals all for under $50 might help someone!
This post I am going to focus on my basics. The foods that never leave my fridge and what I make with them.

Scrambled Eggs Your Way:
I always start with some tomatoes and onion in the pan and add cilantro and cheese later.
Add some cut cucumbers with cream cheese on the side for a full and healthy breakfast.
Rice Bowl:
I prefer brown rice for my bowls but whatever suits your taste.
I again add my tomatoes, onion, cilantro, cucumber, avocado and chicken!
I top it off with BBQ sauce but I have found thats controversial.
Quesadilla:
This one’s a little self-explanatory, but I again add in tomatoes , onion, cilantro, avocado and chicken.
That’s a whole day of meals thats healthy, fills you up, and all use the same basic ingredients.
You can also use them for:
-Avocado Toast
-Salad (My favorite is tomatoes, cucumber, and mozzarella balls on top of lettuce with olive oil dressing)
-Breakfast or Lunch Sandwich
